Alberto de Icaza Bravo

A prominent leader in the automotive industry, with over 41 years of experience in Mexico and the United States. He has worked with governments and international organizations on strategies to strengthen the country's position in the automotive sector. He was a key member of the advisory team during the negotiations of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad La Salle and a Master's degree in Administration from ITESM. His career includes 22 years on the Board of Directors of the National Auto Parts Industry (INA), where he chaired between 2014 and 2016. He has also been a counselor at the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMEXA), INDEX and COPARMEX. His experience covers production, materials, sales and government relations in companies that manufacture electrical components, brake systems, steering, suspension, occupant safety, ADAS electronics, transmissions and electrification.
