
Maru Campos
She has a law degree and a master's degree in Administration and Public Policy from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a master's degree in Latin American Studies and Government from Georgetown University. She was a local and federal congresswoman and served as Municipal President of Chihuahua, becoming the first female mayor in the history of the municipality. During her term she was president of the National Conference of Municipalities of Mexico. She collaborated with the Federal Electricity Commission, as advisor to the General Directorate. She was invited to the Ministry of the Interior to lead an effort of coordination and transparency of social programs. Since 2021, she has served as Governor of Chihuahua.
